Mac Warren
Mac grew up in Northern Illinois where there, “wasn’t any theatre opportunities like what is going on around here!” While attending MCC (McHenry County College), he continued his involvement in College/University theatre and decided he should stop studying ACCOUNTING, and go into something far more lucrative… THEATRE. By his second semester at Eastern Illinois University, his decision had been finalized, he switched his major to Theatre Arts, and began his journey to being a billionaire.
Locally, he is also known by some of his friends as, “Irish Mac”… but only every once and a while. Occasionally, and typically by his wife, he has also been referred to as “Scrooge McMac”, and “Mac-a-licious” (He just admitted to making up the “Mac-a-licious” nickname… she has never called him that). He also frequently annoys his friends with the over usage of the words, “EPIC”, and “UBER”. While he “hates” TWITTER, he does often “tweet” messages asking his current list of followers to stop following him, thus creating a paradox of sorts.
It is Mac’s dream to motorcycle from Northern Canada to the very southern tip of South America. He has attempted, in the past years, to ride his motorcycle year round. While coming close by riding it a solid 11 months, he has never broken the “12 Month Motorcycling in Illinois” barrier. By the way, START SEEING MOTORCYCLES!
In 2008, he completed his Master's degree from the University of Illinois at Springfield in Public Administration. He is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts. Professionally, Mac works in Public Relations and Marketing at Lincoln Land Community College. Mac lives in Springfield, Illinois, with his lovely wife, Carrie, and two beautiful daughters Annelyse and Addelyn.
Mac serves on the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce - Leadership Springfield Board of Directors. He also is a past Vice President and board member for the Springfield Theatre Centre, and is the chair of the “Projects and Volunteering Committee” for the board.
Mac thanks his beautiful wife, Carrie, their beautiful daughters, Annelyse and Addelyn, and his friends and family for their love and support.
Mac is a founding member, and co-owner of ADHD PRODUCTIONS.
